Originally created for use for with a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event campaign but never was used, this now personal project provided an opportunity to showcase my illustration skills.
Charles L. McNair Coloring Book
Created for The Charles L. McNair Booker T. Washington Student Development Foundation, the coloring book honors the life of the late Charles McNair, a lifetime educator in Saginaw MI.
Local elementary school students were given a portions of a short story written about Charles McNair and asked to sketch their ideas for coloring book pages to illustrate the portion of the story they were provided. I used these student sketches as inspiration for the coloring book page illustrations.
